Puerto Rico offers a warm tropical climate year-round

Puerto Rico enjoys warm weather year-round with distinct wet and dry seasons. The coastal regions are generally warmer and more humid, while the interior regions, particularly the mountainous areas, experience slightly cooler temperatures. Temperatures vary between 70°F and 90°F.

The windy season typically spans from November to August, characterized by consistent trade winds that can make for breezy conditions ideal for kitesurfing and wing foiling across the island. Meanwhile, the wave season runs from September to April, offering ideal conditions for surfing and other water sports due to higher and more frequent waves during this period. During summer, it’s perfect for all things foiling. This seasonal distinction makes Puerto Rico a dynamic destination for both wind and wave enthusiasts throughout most of the year.
